About the Pure Creatine
Creatine is a well established supplement commonly used in a number of sporting environments. It is an amino acid found naturally in the body and in meat and fish. It's use is widely accepted in sports such as Rugby League, rowing and athletics. Previous high profile users include Colin Jackson, Sally Gunnell, the Searle brothers Olympic rowers to name but a few. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is credited with introducing creatine into the nutrition of premier League footballers.
The effect of creatine is that it allows the muscles to store more energy. This allows muscles to be able to contract more intensely, for longer durations and more frequently.
Creatine also helps the body's ability to produce the proteins used during muscle contraction and results in increased muscle density, size and strength.
The same is true for horses and creatine is a valuable supplement for all horses competing in demanding disciplines such as racing, eventing, showjumping and endurance though only savvy trainers seem to be switched on to the benefits of using creatine.
In clinical trials it has been found that creatine supplementation helped the aerobic capacity of horses by 27.72%*.

I added Pure Creatine to my mare's feed for approximately six months. Over this period of time she put on loads of muscle on her neck and hind quarters, and she was less tired during and after training sessions. After a couple of seasons out of training (due to an injury to me) she still has loads of muscle and a super top line. I'll be buying it for my other youngster when she starts training this year.
